Warranty is very important to us at Computer Services.
Unlike a lot of repair centres, we do offer a guarantee on all our repairs and sales and unlike a lot of repair centres we stand by our guarantee by supporting you throughout the life of the product!
Below you can read more about our warranty going specifically into the areas it covers.
If you have had a repair done by ourselves, you automatically receive a 3 months warranty. This is our standard guarantee period and we never do anything with less warranty (unless otherwise stated).
Although on some repairs the warranty period can range anywhere from 12 months to 36 months!
All warranty given on repairs only guarantees the original fault repaired, if another fault arises in the warranty period this will not be covered by your guarantee and is chargeable.
User damage is also not covered, so should you break your screen again after having us replace it (even if it was accidentally) we will be unable to stand by the warranty on the repair.
However in the case of a manufacturing defect (such as the screen going dim or randomly going off) where there is no obvious physical damage to be the cause, we will always be able to uphold the warranty and replace it for you ASAP.
If you purchase any second user or refurbished unit from us this item will come with a standard 3 month guarantee.
If the item you purchased from us is sold to you as Brand new the warranty period will be 12 months on.
I had my phone screen replaced 2 weeks ago, i have dropped it and smashed it again is this covered under the warranty?
Simply, no. This is unfortunately classed under user damage and the warranty will not be valid.
I had my computer scanned for viruses last month, and the virus has come back. Is it covered?
No this would not be covered as there will have been user interaction with the machine between the scan and the virus returning.
All work done on our health checks are tried and tested multiple times to make sure that every virus is gone. If you find it has come back again it is probably down to a program you have downloaded or a site you have visited, if you are unsure please ask us and we can guide you on what is safe and what isn't!
I had my hard drive replaced in my desktop PC 2 months ago and it seems to have failed again, is this covered by the warranty?
Yes of course! This will be repaired under warranty as the hard drive we have fitted appears to have gone faulty within warranty period.
I had my iPad screen repaired 2 months ago and the touch screen has stopped working is this covered by warranty?
Yes, as long as there is no visible damage to the screen itself it will be replaced free off charge.
I had my PS4 repaired 2 months ago for BLOD, but it has happened again. If you cannot fix it for a second time will I get a full refund?
No a full refund wont be given due to the uncertainty of the time period between the repair and the second fault.
If for some reason we cant fix the issue again we may offer a part refund on occasion circumstances depending, if this has happened to you please check in with us whilst it is still in warranty period else outside of the 3 months we cannot offer any sort of warranty.
We purchased a laptop from you and there is a few issues with it, what happens if you cant repair them?
On this rare occasion if for any reason we cant rectify any issues you may be having, we are more than happy to replace the laptop like for like!
